 One of the kidnapped teaching staff amongst the kidnapped Oyo pupils and teachers has spoken out.  Apparently, on a directive from the k1dnappers , she appeared on a video , standing by a background of a large piece of cloth or bedsheet tied across the backdrop. She said the kidnappers discovered that reports have been swirling in the media and public spaces that they demanded N1 billion ransom and, demanded for shariah law in a geographical location lawfully allocated from within Oyo  for them.  She said this is far from the truth. According to her, the kidnappers want just one thing only. And that is the only demand they have made so far. This has been ongoing consistently exponentially since 2011.  Things took a dramatic turn recently. Prior, the insurgency and militancy had been limited to the northern region of the country.
