According to Spotify, Drake is the most popular US artiste as he was streamed 1.8 billion times in the outgoing year.
His former girlfriend, Rihanna, occupies the female slot as the most popular female artiste in 2015.

Across the atlantic, Ed Sheeran, the British musician, is the mist popular artiste of all time with over 3 billion of his songs streamed since 2008.
