Have you ever heard of a cigarette-themed wedding, darlings? Because when Mary-Kate Olsen, 29, got hitched to her beau of three years, Olivier Sarkozy, on Black Friday 2015, this was her choice of decor.

Eschewing the traditional peonies, roses, and twinkling lights, the happy couple chose a rather different theme for their intimate ceremony: lung cancer.
“There were bowls and bowls filled with cigarettes, and everyone smoked the whole night,” revealed one guest who is probably now suffering from emphysema.
This mystery source also mentioned that the vow exchange and subsequent dinner party were both held at a private residence and guests were required to turn in their cell

Now, yes, Olivier is a Frenchman (the brother of former French President Nicolas Sarkozy to be exact) and at 46 years old, is from a generation where it was considered tres chic to chain smoke. BUT COME ON — this is just revolting and nauseating on SO. MANY. LEVELS! Weddings should smell of cake, fresh floral arrangements, and possibilities — not thick, stale clouds of toxins and decay.
And may we please discuss how these two reside in a $13 million brownstone in NYC and clearly choose to destroy it with cig smoke? I mean, do you people even bother to use a proper toilet or do you just do your business right there on the hardwood floors? Really, what is the difference?
