Turkish MPs have come to blows during a debate on a controversial bill to give police greater powers over protesters. Ruling party and opposition politicians exchanged punches for the second time in a week as tempers flared in the parliament in Ankara. One opposition MP fell down a set of stairs during the brawl, but was not badly hurt. It comes after five politicians were hurt in scuffles in an overnight session on Tuesday, with two suffering head injuries after being hit by a ceremonial gavel. The opposition is strongly against the government-led bill and earlier in the week promised to keep the draft text from being debated through various parliamentary delaying tactics. Before the latest debate started, opposition MPs carried through their threat by outlining for more than three hours what their objections were, according to the Hurriyet newspaper.  Former Eagles captain and Bolton Fc legend JJ Okocha has been appointed as the ned Delta State Football  Association  Chairman. Eagles most famous number 10 had perfomed well in the EPL for Bolton after coming from French side PSG. Jay-Jay Okocha He won the polls and defeated Evans Agbo by 26 votes to 1. Okocha had before been the vice-chairman before now. Okocha had won the Atlanta 1996 olympic gold and also the 1994 AFCON title with the Eagles under the captain, Big Boss Stephen Keshi. Police Release Pictures of Chelsea Racist Fans (RTE)

Metropolitan Police are appealing for help to identify three men British police have released images of three Chelsea football fans they believe were involved in a racist incident on a Paris Metro train. The Metropolitan Police are appealing for help to identify the trio. Police think they were among a group of Chelsea supporters who  pushed a black man off the train  and chanted a racist song while on the way to a Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain in the French capital on Tuesday. The appeal comes as Chelsea tonight suspended another two people from its Stamford Bridge ground following investigations into the incident, taking the total number to five. The three singled out by the Met in images taken from the Metro are not the same as the trio initially suspended by Chelsea. The club reiterated its promise to ban for life anyone proved to have been involved in the racist altercation and is helping police in the UK and Paris.

Moghalu, former CBN Deputy Gov., Becomes Professor at American University

FORMER Central Bank of Nigeria's Deputy Governor, Dr Kingsley Chiedu Moghalu, has been appointed a professor at an American university. Moghalu will be the Professor of Practice in International Business and Public Policy Tufts University's Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy in Boston, Massachusetts, effective July 1, 2015. "I am honored by this appointment by The Fletcher School, one of the world's leading schools of international affairs, of which I also happen to be a proud alumnus" Moghalu said. He said the appointment demonstrated a recognition of the growing importance of Africa's emerging markets in the global economy. Moghalu served as Deputy Governor of Nigeria's central bank for a five-year term that he completed in November 2014. Buhari Meets President Jonathan's Loyalists in Paris

General Muhammadu Buhari The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Muhammadu Buhari, may have held a secret meeting last night with some loyalists of President Goodluck Jonathan in Paris, sources said from the French capital. Buhari left Nigeria on Thursday morning officially to hold meetings with key members of the British political class and interact with some global institutions. But sources said he might have gone to Paris first to meet with some close allies of Jonathan who are seeking reassurance that they won’t be jailed by a Buhari presidency. It was learnt that Bola Tinubu, an APC leader, two Nigerian former heads of state and a wealthy Lebanese family with extensive business interests in Nigeria may have been part of the people brokering the deal in Paris during a meeting on Thursday night. Bobbi Kristina, Whitney's daughter, undergoes an operation

More news about  Bobbi Kristina Brown  has been revealed as she struggles for her life from her comatose situation ever since she was found in a bath tub unconscious, January 31. The 21-year-old daughtr of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown underwent a tracheotomy (a surgical procedure of the trachea) in order to rearrange the breathing tube in her neck. “It’s a normal procedure to have the tracheotomy because if you have a breathing tube down there for a long time, it can cause an infection,” a family source reported.  Hopefully , this procedure will hasten Brown's recovery. The prognosis however, remained grim. Doctors reportedly said initially that there is no hope for her recovery and should be taken off life support machine but later indications emerge that it is uncertain if she would ever return to her old self if she recovers.
