"I did not endorse Buhari"- Obasanjo

Contrary to earlier reports, President Olusegun Obasanjo has stated that he didn't endorse the APC presidential candidate Muhammadu Buhari.

The former president said a question was asked and he responded that he will appraise each candidate on his track records and intentions and on that basis, decide on who to support if they seek his support. "It was not an endorsement per se," he said.

Asked if he has decided on whom he will give his backing to, he said his observation process of the contestants is still ongoing.
