  The Nigerian police and military forces hauling complained of gross neglect and severe under payment in view if the grave risks they encounter daily.  Worse, their pension, for those who made it to the 35 years of service, get pittance as pension. Subsequent administrations hardly did anything to change this narrative. In the case of the police, even after the Police Service Commission was set up, there is no visible change in police'' welfare across Nigeria.  It got so bad that police officers have to buy their uniforms and boots as well as stationery used at police stations.. But, joy is coming! President Bola Tinubu just signed a mandate declaring and increase in the salaries of all secure personnel in Nigeria .. Will this lead to better efficiency? Or more of the same? Nigerians, brace up for increased cost of transportation for commuters and more cost of fuel for vehicle users And it all has to do with Dangote Refinery .  After Dangote raised it's gantry fee , Petrol prices rises to N1,050 in Lagos and N1, 080 in Abuja .  Is it a good idea to float a private refinery ? Or is Dangote refinery becoming too big to handle?

Though Nnaji resigned last year from his minister ship position, that didn't deter the federal government to instituting an investigative panel to ascertain the validity of his insistence that he submitted a genuine certificate.
