DEVELOPING: BBC Confirms Khanenei 's Fate (Foreign)

 In the midst of the growing tension about this topic, many conflicting reports have circulated in the last 24 hours.

But now, the BBC just confirmed that indeed, the Suoreme Ruler of the Islamic of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khameini, was k1 lled in a US-Israeli joint military mission in his office in the early hours of Saturday , February 28. 

Attention shifts to his successor and plans for Iran post-Khameini. Already, unconfirmed reports say his son has ascended rulership following this incident.
