Certificate Forgery: FG Panel Reveals Result of Ex Minister 's Probe. (Nigeria (

So, the Nigerian federal government panel has finally concluded its investigation into whether or not Uche Nnaji earned a first degree from University of Nigeria (UNN) as he claimed and filed in his ministerial credentials before becoming a federal minister.  He was the minister for science and technology before his resignation in the wake of the Forgery accusations.

Though Nnaji resigned last year from his minister ship position, that didn't deter the federal government to instituting an investigative panel to ascertain the validity of his insistence that he submitted a genuine certificate.

The panel just revealed its findings. Nnaji did not a present a valid graduate certificate from UNN. This means, it was forged. It's a fake.

This does not apply to his university degree alone, even his mandatory NYSC certificate was forged. Na real minister of "science and tech".

Now, how then did that wannabe certificate scale through the touted security screenings, background checks all the check checks that such high profile political appointees are reported to be carried out on them? Or did their testing equipments broke down? Or computers got virus infection? All it needed was facing or emailing it to UNN registrar for checks, for starters. All the federal security and intelligence agencies have state operatives. These state  officers can easily go and do physical inspection of certificates citing its number.

The man , even, in (un)righteous indignation, wrote a petition to his then-colleague, Tunji Alausa, the minister of education, stridently objecting to the claim. The man get mind!

How come oga? Glaring someone or people dropped the ball there. Deliberately.

Ok. Thank you FG. But, the probe should not stop at fishing out Nnaji and his abracadabra certificates. It should widen its scope to fish out the security officers who purported carried out the said checks for punishment.

That would serve as a deterrent. Especially, as there's been loud whisperings about another "Oluwole genje sabiticate" (a fake) by another high profile minister.

Nigeria we hail thee!

Is this right? Is the FG panel work complete? Why is this becoming a common occurrence despite screenings,?
