Jamie Foxx has joined the ranks of American celebrities who
are demanding the release of the abducted Chibok girls in Nigeria. The girls were forcefully taken away from Government Secondary School, Chibok, Borno state as they were preparing to take their final high school leaving certificate examinations in Physics, April 14.
Foxx, posted on social network: “BringBackOurGirls Join the
movement and help spread the message until our girls are home safe.” His appeal follows appeals from American and
global stars for the release of the girls including Angelina Jolie, Alicia
Keys, Michelle Obama, Pharell, Kanye West and others who have helped spread
messages of hope and support for the kidnapped girls and their families.
