President Bola Tinubu is currently in UK on a state visit to the country. 

The visit will strengthen bilateral relations with the country's oldest western ally in the first state visit to UK in 37 years.

He is accompanied by some ministers and governors including Gover of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, honourable minister of finance Wale Edun and honourable minister of solid minerals' development, Dr. Dele Alake.

Dignitaries from several key sectors of a country always follow a president on state visits to hold talks with their counterparts in the country hosting them on state visits for quick collaboration in foreign direct investment opportunities.

Here, Dr. Alake while welcoming President Tinubu on his arrival at the Fairmont Hotel, Windsor, ahead of the State Visit, said, "We look forward to the scheduled engagements that will follow."
