Under his direction, United State's entered into a coalition with Israel and attacked Iran ostensibly due to Iran's so called nuclear weapons program .  Nuclear weaponry that critics day have not been found since the strikes started.  On the night of Sunday, March 22 , Trump issued an ultimatum to Iran to stand down on its closure of the crude shipping sea passage, the Strait of Hormuz which Iran blockaded in its retaliatory move or face a total destruction of the country's key infrastructure.  This blockage sharply drove global oil prices up.  Iranians are wary of this olive branch. They suspect it's done to conceal a greater disaster US is about to unlease on Iran.

That is the story of Bunmi Oshonaike, the mother of Seyi Tinubu . President Bola Tinubu met Madam Bunmi way back when she was a flight attendant with Nigeria Airways ' flights to America. They dated and their relationship later produced Seyi. They were never married though.  She is now a cleric with the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) where she is debiting her latter years to serving God in His vineyard.  But one thing remained constant. Due to the crushing higher cost of fuel leading to higher transportation fare to commute daily, the governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, has displayed that his government is a listening and caring one.  A moment ago, Makinde gladdened the hearts of the state's civil servants by signing approval to payment of N10,000 extra to their pay packages to cushion the harsh effects of the price increment.  Will other states follow suit and emulate Makinde?

As we all know, the world heavyweight champion , Anthony Joshua, lost his two childhood friends Laez and Cina in a fatal car crash four months ago in Nigeria. It was a moment of profound tragic loss that the world palpably stopped and sorrowed alongside Joshua. Emotions were heightened upon Joshua's quick return back to UK, he left back for UK without completing his trip.  There, he personally took his friends' luggage to their parents minus their sons. It was a heart rending moment.  Now, four months later, Joshua did something to lighten the mood of the mothers of his best friends in order to help them lessen the sorrow and heal emotionally. It lost the trophy to Senegal in a volatile match that saw the Senegalese walking off the pitch at a point I've poor officiating. They returned to finish it after some time.  Afterwards, the Moroccan football authorities lodged an official complaint with CAF , the continental football body. Last week, CAF stripped Senegal of the gold medal and trophy, declaring that Morocco is deemed to have won the match because Senegal walked off.
