Much Ado About New Airbus Jet For President Tinubu (Nigeria)

 The uproar over purchase of new presidential jet for the president is yet to die down.  Whilst some flay the president, calling it an illtined, ill-advised and totally insensitive acting, others defended the purchase as very necessary for effective workings and execution of presidential duties which is done in the global stage and which warrants frequent foreign trips. 



Mega Mode Media however learnt the main reason why the new Airbus plane was purchased is because the other planes in the presidential fleet weresub par second hand places which were refurbished and paraded as brand new. Not surprisingly, it got less airworthy in no time and almost cost CP Shettima his life in a trip to Texas four months ago.

Following an intelligence briefing after the incident in conjunction with the national assembly, this malady was discovered. A decision was then taken to sell off the rickety planes, and buoyed by a little financial addition, buy a new standard jet for the office of the president.
