Why Jude & Paul Okoye Sidelined Their Brother Peter of PSquare From Million Dollar Royalties For Years (Entertainment)
What could have caused the deep animosity between Peter, Paul and Jude Okoye to the extent that two out of the three brothers ket sharing millions of dollars annually for years without letting Peter know?
Jude is the erstwhile manager and elder brother of the twins singing/dancing group known as PSquare.
The group broke up some years due to irreconcilable differences that degenerated to the point that Peter wasn't on talking terms with the other two brothers.
They reconnected last year to the big relief and bliss of their fans. They even tried touring. But, it's all shortlived. Few months afterwards, the group broke up yet again.
Peter found out both brothers had been sharing millions of dollars from online streams of their songs through a company called Northside Music set up by Jude with the home address of his wife, Ifeoma, listed as office address. The group had Northside Entertainment as their outfit before.
As soon as the funds lands in this account, Jude split the money between Paul and himself, excluding Peter totally!
Peter's shock discovery of this led to the second break up. This time, things have fallen apart totally, the centre would barely hold anymore for years to come now.
Though people are quick to label Jude as a bad elder brother and mastermind of the ills bedeviling the group, this newspaper doesn't think so. Mega Mega Media believes it's rather Paul who is the brain behind the atrocities. Jude is likely to be a weak big brother controlled by Paul. And Jude, as his pawn, was pushed to do all these by Paul.
Otherwise, why has Paul been vociferously accusing Peter of EFCC arrest and harassmen while he was merely questioned, his name wasn't in petitions Peter wrote but Jude's, and Jude was the arrested party as he's the one who set up the bogus company? Paul was merely questioned, he was never arrested. So, why did Paul embark on a ferocious smear campaign?
Paul fits the archetype bu11ying personality associated with anyone who's b I p o l a r. This twin of Peter has had man1c episodes of attacks against not just Peter, but Peter's wife Lola, and even, his own ex wife, Anita, shortly before she filed for divorce and gled to the US! And he did these using the vilest language publicly online, most notably when Lola wished him happy birthday some years back. Paul nicknamed himself "rudeboy" for a reason .
Most people are quick to oint accusing fingers at Jude. But, this analysis shows he's often goaded into doing all the various atrocities by Paul, the real bully.
It's highly likely Peter was their late mom's favorite which stoked bitter sibling rivalry. Who wouldnt love a gentle well-behaved son over the cantankerous one? Especially as the troublesome one has the big brother who should ideally administer discipline and firmness weapped round his ginger to effectively bulky not just his twin brother but terrorise the big brother as well?
That has been the family dynamics since childhood and which has not changed. Peter knows, and read the situation well that by arresting Jude, Paul will show his hand, which would make the anti graft agency, FFCC, grab Paul as well. So, he chose not to include him in his edition but now, Paul acts true to type yet again
