Good News! Lesser Petrol Cost Arrives for Nigerians (Economy)

 


Dangote Refinery, a private refinery in Nigeria, has reduced the prices of petrol by N15. 

Depending on your location in Nigeria, there are chances that you can buy premium motor sprit or petrol, from N875 or at most N905 per litre at petrol filling stations nationwide. 

Economists opine that with this trend, market forces will soon force the prices to almost N400 by the last quarter of the year. 

Nigeria has been embroiled in acute inflation caused mainly by the removal of petroleum subsidy by the Tinubu administration right from the onset of his government, May 29, 2023.
