 Sunday Oliseh, former Super Eagles' captain and a living legend in the annals of football history in Nigeria's football, just made a very scintillating announcement. 

Oliseh has just been appointed to the International Football Association Board (IFAB). 

He announced, "IFAB is the global guardian of football’s laws, responsible for determining the laws of football,shaping the beautiful game for players and fans worldwide", adding, "I'm  honored to contribute to its mission!"

Oliseh is part of the historic 1994 Super Eagles which won the National cup and made Nigeria proud at its debut at a World Cup by making it ti the second round of the USA '94 World Cup where it hauntingly lost to the Azzuris of Italy who equalized the Eagle's lone lead in less than two.minutes in regulation time. The Italians won during added time. 

Football pundits lauded the period as the peak of the Golden Era of Nigerian football and the team, the best Super Eagles team till date. 

Upon retirement, he trained and  became a football coach.
