Five Million Dollars SpentvBy Nig Govt Official On Kids' School Fees? (Nigeria )

Femi Otedola, billionaire businessman aand close ally of Aliko Dangote who established Dangote Refinery has thrown more fuel to the fire of the gross embezzlement and abuse of abuse he levelled against Ahmed Farouk.

While Nigerians are groaning and labouring under the burden of meeting living costs including payment of school fees for their children in public schoos, it is alarming that a government official is spending FIVE MILLION US DOLLARS $5 million to educate his children at the most expensive, most exclusive and most elitist of all places, Switzerland! 

Switzerland by itself alone is the most expensive place to live on the planet. Everything over there is very expensive and it's no surprise its citizens rarely venture out of the country because virtually all the money they make goes back into the country in housing, gas, food and taxes. 

Now, imagine an African man sending his schools there for the purpose of educating them. Only ultra wealthy Jewish bankers and few billionaires could attempt that. 

This is because he is the MD/CEO of NMDPRA, Nigeria's agency supervising the downstream sector.

On X, Otedola writes, "Aliko Dangote says NMDPRA CEO Farouk Ahmed spent $5 million on Swiss school fees for his children. Living large on taxpayers’ money, or what?"

Otedola said Dangote maintains that this development raises serious questions about conflicts of interest, economic sabotage and the integrity of Nigeria’s downstream petroleum. Therefore, Dangote "has called on President Bola Tinubu to investigate and prosecute the MD.

If one government official can afford to fleece Nigeria if five million US dollars during this strangulating economic hardship in Nigeria just to educate his kids, what about other top government officials we do not yet know or hear about?

Nigeria is extremely rich. The country is not poor as we have been led to believe in recent times. 

Or, in fairness, can this fund be from his personal purse?
