Nigerian influencers, Hamzat Habeeb a.k.a. Pellet and Elizabeth Amadou known popularly as Jarvis, his skit and real life romantic partner got into a spat recently.
Peller, in the hospital (c) tiktokIt becomes apparent that beneath the veneer of glamour, love and success, lie serious issues that though, were carefully managed before but has now spilled into public domain.
With Peller, his struggles with fake started with emotional drain and trauma because of the insane entitlement his extended family has over his wealth. Months ago, he publicly called them out, threatening to quit skit making because the financial demands the larger family places on his shoulder is beyond his 19 years of age. This makes him depend more on Jarvis for emotional stability and love.
But, Jarvis also has deep seated resentment and anger against Peller. It's clear that she's independent, even though Peller is ready to give her any material thing that she wants or need, Jarvis wants to earn money of her own. She wanted to do her own thing with getting ambassadorial or endorsements on her own, outside Peller, to feel internally satisfied.
But Peller won't have that. He does not trust any male around Jarvis. He fears she would not be with him anymore if she explore her independent options without him. Therein lies Peller's insecurities, jealousy and possibly, obsession.

They've been in arguments before. Jarvis blames this on Peller's possessiveness and jealousy bordering on obsession. He doesn't want her collaborating with or influencing any other male lest they date her. All her frequent assurances and reassurances she won't cheat on him fell on deaf ears. E just dey enter Peller left ear dey comot for him right ear.
The way they were.... (c) Google ImageIn frustration, Jarvis once publicly lamented that Peller is the reason why she has not been able to nag lucrative endorsements in her own right. And that, some of his online antics was damaging her brand. "He is too immature," she complained.
So, it doesn't come as a surprise to hear of their latest altercation. This occurred because Jarvis wanted to go to UK to get education in AI-affiliated courses that she can incorporate into comedy and skit making. Peller of course, strongly objected. But, Jarvis firmly put her foot down that she's going and Peller can stop her.
That's why she did not inform Peller upfront about it or he would have done everything to stop her. Now, it's done, she has been accepted in the UK institution, she has paid her fees and she's bought tickets before telling Peller. She was about to fly out of the country. Still, last minute , Peller tried to talk Jarvis out of it.
Despite his volatile anger and pleas, Jarvis baby no green oo.
So, a very upset Peller got into a car, drive off while going Live, yet under the 1nfluence of @lc0h0l. He got into a motor @ccident and thankfully, survived. But, he ended on the emergency section of a hospital.
And where's Jarvis? Though she was distressed by the outcome, unconfirmed reports say she made it to the airport and travelled to the UK as she planned.
But, she's advocating that the public should not ridicule or mock Peller because it would worsen Peller's fragile emotional state. “It’s always people will mock me. Because I can see concern about this online. People will mock him, Stop mocking him. Stop shading him,” she said in a Live social media broadcast. She acknowledged that Peller is not a bad person but a great human with a very good heart.
But, she again confirmed that his emotional vulnerability is the problem. "Yes, he cannot control his emotions. He cannot control. That’s the problem," Jarvis said.
These acts are normally punishable by law. Driving under Influence or worst, attempting su1 c1de are criminal offences because the former endangers society while the latter is just so, because the government owns life's, it does not belong to the individual so it's not his ir hers to take. That's why when an offence is done against someone and public prosecutor takes it up, it is titled the name of a country Nigeria versus that person or persons.
Is Jarvis correct that Peller is childish? Is Jarvis justified in travelling regardless of what happened?
Let's learn together. Sound off in the comments.
