Rumbles at Ife Chietaincy Event: One Event, Two Controversy

So many news and events have gone viral in recent days concerning the First Lady of Nigeria, Ikuremi Tinubu, and events at the 10th Coronation of the Ooni of Ife. She was bestowed with the Chietaincy title of Yeye Ile Oidua of Ife by the Oonitisa, Babatunde Eniyan Igunwusu, Ojaja II. 

Ar the glamorous event which attracted governor's of Lagos, Odun States plus the crene de ka creme if society, Tinubu reportedly walked to the podium, interrupted Gov. Ademola Adeleke as he was about to burst into a song dance routine as he is wont to do, and told him to wrap up within five minutes, video of that portion went viral and controversial.

The Ooni also drew criticisms because of the easy way people, especially women who undoubtedly familiar faces, acted inappropriately around the king 

I beg to differ.

There's a certain innate ability people, especially public figures, must have. It is the ability to "read the room." It means acute discernment of the mood, tone, nuances in a setting and behave accordingly. Governor Adeleke, is the host governor and very personal friend of the Oonitisa. But, he is from the opposition party to that of the First Lady's husband, President Bola Tinubu. Campaign season are hotly afiit in Odun, which holds its gubernatorial polls next year outside the general election circuit. So, every opportunity must be exploited to gain .

Super Falcons',;: How captain, Surprised the f Nigerian First Lady (Nigeria)

 It is no new that yhe Super Falcons' inspirational captain, Rasheedat Ajibade, and team mates, arrived in Abuja, days ago after their historic victory over hosts Morocco in the the just-concluded Women Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).  It is also no news that the victorious Super Eagles triumphantly and joyfully visited Aso Rock Villa to formally present the WAFCON trophy to the president. Nollywood Slacks as Tunisian Film Gets Nomination for 2026 Golden Globes (Entertainment)

  Film poster The Voice of Hind Rajab - Tunisia makes foreign film nominees ' list of the Golden Globes. It is also under consideration at the Academy Awards for Motion Pictures dubbed the Oscars.  The film, released in September 2025, is based on a harrowing real life events surrounding the 911 call centering on Hind Rajah, a six year old Palestinian girl trapped under the rubble after an Isr@eli attack on G@z@.  It's not  just a triumph for Africa, it underlines the West's growing affinity with rhetoric against Isr@eli onslaught in G@z@. Before now, such a film would have been censored out somehow and not go that far.  This is a wake up call for the Nigerian Motion Picture Industry called Nollywood. Nollywood has done great. Things  I will love to see is when my country's film practitioners decide it's high time we take it higher with production of not just for profit films alone but for producing aesthetically didactic and reflective films on internation...
