Jonathan-must-win strategy beckons as FG slashes petrol price
The Federal Government, Sunday night reduced the pump price of petrol to N87/litre.
Minister of Petroleum, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madukwe while announcing the reduction said, the new pump price will take effect from 12:00am on Monday.
A government official who wishes to remain anonymous because he is unauthorised to speak on the matter exclusively told Mega Mode Media that the development arose out of a desperate ploy to win over the electorate as the presidential election beckons. It will be recalled that steady power supply was the tactic used to achieve the same aim in 2011.
