Kim Kardsahian, Kanye West, their daughter North and several other members of the reality TV clan have arrived in the Armenian capital of Yerevan.
The family arrived to chaotic scenes of cheering crowds, The Daily Mail reports, including women in local dress proffering the traditional greeting for dignitaries of bread and salt.
“My husband and daughter came to Armenia as well to see my heritage and learn about my ancestors!" Kim Kardashian captioned a photo of Kanye West holding North on Instagram. "My cousins came along too! So excited I can't sleep."

Meanwhile, Khloe Kardashian said she was "overwhelmed" by the love and welcome given to them by the Armenian people.
"I wholeheartedly, can't believe all of you Angels who are outside our hotel with flowers and smiles," wrote Khloe on Instagram, alongside a picture of the crowd. "I'm incredibly eager to get some sleep and see Armenia in the day light! I hope I'm able to sleep. I'm so excited to be here!!,”
The Kardashian family will reportedly be in Armenia for eight days and will not only visit monuments and museums but will meet with local politicians. E! Cameras are on hand to capture the entire trip for the clan’s eponymous TV show.
While some reports have suggested that Kardashian, whose late father Robert was third generation Armenian-American, was in the country to mark the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide,Daily Mail reports the timing is just coincidental and that the entrepreneur and reality star was simply in the country to reconnect with her roots.
Kardashain has previously spoken out about the 1915 slaughter of ethnic Armenians by the Ottoman government in which 1.5 million people are said to have been killed.
