BREAKING: Security operatives storm Dasuki's homes

The Abuja and Sokoto homes of the former National Security Adviser, retired Colonel Sambo Dasuki, have been invaded by large numbers of operatives of the State Security Service (SSS). Sambo was inside his Asokoro-Abuja home when it was surrounded by the operatives who have so far insisted on searching the residence and also question him. THEWILL gathered from associates of the former NSA that the family residence in Sokoto town, which belongs to his father, the deposed Sultan of Sokoto, has been searched by the operatives who asked the soldiers on guard to stand down citing Presidential approval for the raid. Sambo’s associates say he has shut himself in and has so far refused to allow the operatives into his residence, saying the SSS had neither formally invited him for questioning nor presented a warrant. As at the time of writing this report it was not clear whether Sambo had been taken into custody. Sambo was relieved of his appointed this week by President Muhammadu Buhari. An associate of the former NSA told THEWILL that he is scheduled to depart for the United States Friday. President Muhammadu Buhari is also scheduled to arrive the United States this weekend on an official visit to the White House. Copyright: THE WILL
