The British pop star, 23, and Jungwirth, also 23, first met each other through mutual friends following his breakup this past March from his longtime love Eleanor Calder. "Louis and Eleanor split up two weeks ago," Tomlinson's rep told Us at the time. "They have not announced this as they wanted some privacy during this time." The pair had been together since fall 2011. Lucky for Tomlinson, his mom, Johanna, has plenty of experience with babies. The pop star's parent is a formally trained midwife, who herself gave birth to twins (Tomlinson's half siblings, Ernest and Doris) last February. The same source tells Us that both Jungwirth and Tomlinson's parents met in L.A. over Independence Day weekend. The insider says everyone got along. While the two will share parenting duties, the source tells Us that Tomlinson is still very much single. "They aren’t together but are both happy about having a child," the insider says. "They aren’t a couple and the pregnancy is in the very new [stages]. They just found out."
