Film star Angelina Jolie starts new gig with first son Maddox

In a move that's like Bring Your Kid to Work Day but actually interesting, Angelina Jolie has announced that she and 13-year-old Maddox will be making a Netflix Original Film together. Casual. According to Vanity Fair, the movie will be an adaptation of First They Killed My Father: A Daughter of Cambodia Remembers, the memoir of human rights activist Loung Ung. "I was deeply affected by Loung's book," Jolie said in the press release. "It deepened forever my understanding of how children experience war and are affected by the emotional memory of it. And it helped me draw closer still to the people of Cambodia, my son's homeland. It is a dream come true to be able to adapt this book for the screen, and I'm honored to work alongside Loung and filmmaker Rithy. Previously, Maddox worked as a production assistant on By the Sea—which Jolie directs and stars in alongside Brad Pitt—meaning he's probably pretty good at taking down lunch orders by now
