The couple was left "homeless" in LA in September after the house they had been renting in Holmby Hills was sold by its owner, and now, according to a new TMZ report, the stars have moved into a $US45 million ($A62.43 million) estate that was once owned by former Los Angeles Dodgers owner Frank McCourt.
The new pad has a little movie history - it featured as the home of fictional millionaire Jeffrey Lebowski in the iconic 1998 movie.
Sources claim Beyonce and Jay are handing over $US150,000-per-month to live in the sprawling mansion, and they have signed a one-year lease on the property, which comes with five bedrooms, six bathrooms, an Olympic-sized indoor swimming pool, a dance studio, library/screening room and spa.
Beyonce is a big fan of the film and used a sample of a French dub of Maude Lebowski's monologue about feminism from the movie in her song Partition.
