Michael Jackson's Long-Touted Love Child Accepts His Award in Lagos

It is confirmed!

Daar Communications Plc. celebrated its 15th year anniversary yesterday. December 15, in Lagos.

Celebrated at the event was the King of Pop, Michael Jackson.  And guess who collected the statuette on his behalf? None other than Brandon Howard, the 31 year old singer who has been widely speculated to be the megastar's illegitimate son. MJ reportedly fathered him after a brief affair with the mother, Miki Howard, in 1982 shortly before Brandon's birth a year later and is said to be the inspiration behind the hit track, Billie Jean. Miki was briefly, a back up singer for MJ.

She and her children, including Augie, whose name appeared on Brandon's birth certificate as the father, became family friends with MJ all his life. They were also regular visitors at the late singer's Neverland ranch. He even grew up with other MJ's nieces and nephews.
A DNA test done in March was inconclusive-some reports claims he id 99.9 matched with MJ, another claimed the result was forged. Yet another account insinuated that Joe Jackson, the family's patriarch, is Brandon's father.

From the audible gasp from the audience in Lagos yesterday night, there id no doubt they believe he is MJ's son. He dressed like him down to the haircut and aviator sunglasses and has MJ's exact facial features. He is literally, MJ resurrected.

Affair: Brandon is said to be the product of an affair Michael Jackson had with the singer's mother Miki Howard. The pair are said to have met in 1982, shortly before he was born in 1983

Already, Brandon is very much a part of the. Jackson dynasty. Otherwise, Jackie Jackson, the eldest child among the Jackson's children, would not have directed Brandon to receive the honour om MJ's behalf. Jackie could not make the journey bevause he got married for the third time in a secret ceremony over the weekend. Though close to the family since his childhood, it is clear that the family either knew all along, accepted the DNA test result or both, hasg been seen regularly with members of the Jackson's family.

Brandon has the same name as Marlon's twin who died as a child.

The 31 year old singer/songwriter who has worked with < Jason Derulo, Wyclef, Akon, Ne-Yo, among others, had consistently insisted on being disinterested in the multi million dollar Jackson's estate.
