The governor pledged to consider the interest of the three senatorial zones in the state in his choice of government functionaries, if given another chance.
In her remarks, Onanuga commended the party and Amosun for considering her fit for the job, promising to be loyal to the governor and her party for development of the state.
Said she, “We are going to work hand in hand to achieve the goals that the governor has envisioned.”
Onanuga, 54, who hails from Aparaki in Ijebu-Igbo under Ijebu North local council described the office of the deputy as helpmate to the governor, assuring that she would do everything to function in that capacity.
