It's no news that The Nigerian military executed an air strike teer00rists at Jilli market near the Borno-Yobe border on Saturday, April 11.

But, the strike under Operation HADIN KAI, has sparked widespread backlash, with local authorities, political leaders and rights groups condemning the incident amid conflicting accounts of casualties.

The figure of civilians who unfortunately were unalived during the strike is officially 40. But, unofficial reports say the figure is higher.

This is causing mass anger that civilians were collateral damage during the incident.

Regrettable. But what is done is done. What are the lessons to learn from this?

The civilian population near where terr0r1sts converge or make their bases should stop.lib8ng in silence it covertly siding and abetting their activities. They should report these to the appropriate agencies on sighting them near where they live. They can also establish secret vigilante groups for this purpose.

They need not fear reprisals from the ter00rists..

The current administration has one thing going for it which is that, it has shown remarkable will in tackling insecurity. So, such informants will be kept safe.

It is proactively better to rout them out of their surroundings and make their environments notorious for being unconscious to ter00rists m, than risk aerial bombardments which can likely cause a bk00dbath in their homes.

Mega Mode Media sends huge condolences to the wounded and the families of the slain civilians. God bless Nigeria.
