Change is already in the air as Adesina wins AfDB seat

Nigeria's credibility got an immense boost among the comity of nations today just as the country is on the cusp of an administration change tomorrow.

The outgoing minister of agriculture, Mr. Akinwunmi Adesina, has been elected as the helmsman at the African Development Bank.

Though the position was keenly contested, Adesina garnered enough support and votes from Nigeria's friends on the continent to get the coveted position.

President-elect Muhammadu Buhari who will be sworn in tomorrow, at a juncture, gave massive support to Adesina's ambition and this has positively rubbed off on the minister.
Change has indeed arrived.
