What's the new British royal princess's name?

Royal watchers have indicated by 5 to 1 that the name for the newest member of the Royal family is Charlotte, the feminine version of Charles, the new princess's grandfather.
One other name cropping up among keen observers of royal tradition is Diana, the tot's famous late grandmother. Some say Charlotte would be the first name while Diana would be her middle name. However, others are betting otherwise because of the fact that Princess Diana was a polarising figure in the family despite her fame, beauty and charitable works. Her divorce from Prince Charles was also a fact which might make the name an uncomfortable choice.
Still, bets are still placed in favour of the selection of the name.

However, the world might need to wait for another 24 to 48 hours more to know the new princess's name.

Meanwhile, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge glowed with pride as they left the hospital with their new baby daughter - just 12 hours after arriving at the Lindo Wing and ten hours after giving birth.
The couple emerged on the steps outside St Mary's Hospital in west London shortly after 6pm and the world was given a brief glimpse of the new princess, who was wrapped in a white blanket and held tenderly in her mother's arms.
The newest Royal, whose name is yet to be announced, was born at 8.34am today weighing 8lbs and 3oz - less than three hours after the Duchess was admitted to hospital.
Kate looked remarkably fresh in a yellow floral Jenny Packham dress, with her hair and make-up freshly done, as the pair stood for a few minutes proudly showing off their second child and waving for the cameras
