Lagos Obas grace Ambode's Onikan rally

Right now, Ambode Akinwunmi, a Lagos gubernatorial aspirant is flagging off a political rally at Onikan, Lagos. Loyalists started trooping into the venue as early as 7.00 a.m as major entrances and exits to the stadium is patrolled by heavily-armed security men. 
Most of all, the top Obas (kings) in Lagos all attended the event in a show of support yet unprecedented for any other gubernatorial candidate yet. Visible among them are  Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu, HRM Oba Gausu Alani Rasaki of Ibeshe, HRM oba Taofeek Adegboyega of Imore&Apapa, HRM Oba Wahabi Ayinde Balogun. Oba of Iseri-Olofin.HRM Oba Galib Adeniyi Rufai, the Olojo of Ojo. HRM Oba Rilwan Oluwalambe, the Oba of Ojokoro Land, the Oloto of Oto-Awori HRM Oba Olanrewaju Aina and The representative of the Akran of Badagry among others.
Their presence at the event lends credence tot he popular notion that Ambode is the "chosen" gubernatorial candidate for APC in Lagos.

At the well-attended event,  the former Lagos' accountant-general promised to work to develop Lagos into a greater Lagos that can stand at par with 'Grat megacities of the world with provision and improvement of infrastructure, security, education and power.
