A drug-dealing grandma sold hundreds of pounds of cannabis out of her Pennsylvania trailer so she could afford to raise her orphaned grandkids.
Candace Kelly told the court she ran the sophisticated racket out of her Buffalo Township mobile home so she'd have enough money to look after the youngsters following her daughter's death.
The 65-year-old was originally charged last year after cops found 64 pounds of hydroponically grown marijuana and almost $400,000 in cash at the property.
Authorities claimed she'd been selling as much as 100 pounds of the drug each year since 2009.
But the charges were withdrawn after problems emerged with the search warrant. Kelly did not escape justice, however, and was charged again by the state attorney general in January after a grand jury investigation.
She pleaded guilty to drug sales, possession and conspiracy in Butler County on Wednesday, reports the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
The senior was ordered to forfeit $393,000 and faces up to 10 years in prison when she is sentenced on Nov. 20. She currently remains free, in lieu of $100,000 unsecured bond, after it was ruled she wasn't considered a flight risk.
