A GermanWings flight from Barcelona, Spain. to Dusseldorf, Germany just crashed in the remote mountainous region of the French Alps with 144 passengers and six crew aboard.
The speed with which the aircraft crashed from 14,000 feet to the mountains within six minutes, and the airplane crash occurring over rugged mountains, makes it improbable for any survivors.
The last distress call by the doomed plane by its captain was made around 10.30 local time, 45 minutes into the flight.
