Criminalis in Nigeria best stop their lifestyles or face instant retribution. It will become increasingly dangerous for any criminal to pull any stunt in the country anymote. This is because the Nigerian Police authorities have launched ab UT initiative called e-CMR that will provide a firsthand database to the Force for curbing vehicular crimes. Designated officers can access real-time extendive data of every vehicle on their tablets.

 Similarly, the e-CMR will prevent multiple registration of vehicles and serve as a database to collate biometric and other data of vehicle owners and individuals, adding value to the national database and incident report portal generated from other Ministries, Departments and Agencies towards general security.

Contrary to some reports, this initiative comes at ni cost to motorists.
