Bronny James,, son of legendary         LeBron James, has just signed signed a four-year, $7.9 million contract to play for the Lakers as a guard, Wednesday, July 3. Same day, his dad also extended his contract with the Lakers for a yet undisclosed sum thereby,, creating a record in the history of basketball.

Born Lebron James Jnr. in 2004 but called Bronnie, the story if his journey into pro basketball underscores his resilience and ability to overcome adversity.

A year ago, the news was awash with reports of a heart condition that needed a delicate surgery. After a layoff and recovery, Bronnie averaged 4.8 points on 36.6% shooting (26.7% from 3), 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 19.3 minutes at University of Southern California (USC) where he just graduated this year. He admitted the nearly five-month layoff because of the medical issue affected his development, he mentally rebounded and was able to step up his game on the court.

Already, Lebron, a celebrated pointsmsn for the Lakers,  had smashed records on and off the court, which culminates in his emergence as one of the few billionaires in the game.
