Lagos Goes Into Full L0ckd0wn Mode As Hours to Pr0te$ts Counts Down (Nigeria)

Mega Mode Media can authoritatively confirm that Lagos State has gone into full lockdown mode as proposed nationwide protests start tomorrow, August 1. 


    

In the last three days, the presence if police checks in the former capital city has increased. Police patrol vans with blaring sirens sweep through major streets in the metropolis especially, the Lagos-Ikorodu road, Berger to Oworonshoki axis, Amuwo-Odofin road, Ojuelegba - Western Avenue road, Oshodi - Isolo - Ago Palace Way - Airport road corridor, amongst others.

Kanu Ndunuisi Arcade by Alausa close by the state governor's office, Freedom park and Lekki toll gate which played hosts to the ill-fated #EndSars protests are consistently experiencing heavy police patrols day and night in the last three days.

These efforts are now being complemented with aerial police surveillance.

Lagos is Nigeria's most densely populated state that's most likely to be the epicenter of the protests regarding huge turnout and activities.  Consequently, this could cause security challenges  for it is most vulnerable to experiencing violence and instability it the situation is not well curtailed.
