Lagos King Dethroned, Where Does Removed Kings Go? (Nigeria Metro)

Something interesting happened today concerning kingship installment and annulment in Lagos.

The Supreme Court has struck out an appeal filed by Micheal Onakoya against the judgement of Court of Appeals’  Lagos Division which affirmed the judgment of the lower court that dethroned Onakoya as king of Orijeru of Igbooye land, Epe.

The apex court in the suit SC//CV//969/2024 delivered by Justice Adamu Jauro  said Onakoya’s appeal is incompetent because it was filed out of time. Appeals Court ruled in March 2020, and he took the case to the Supreme Court, June 28 2020, outside the time prescribed by Section 27 of the Supreme Court Act.

Now, where does such a ,removed king go? And how would he then be forthwith addressed?
