Sagamu: Fresh Kidnappings of 20 Occurs Overnite (Crime)

The Sagamu expressway, bordering Ilishan town gate, few minutes from Lagos, experienced a kidnap of about 20 travellers along that route late last night.

One resident of the town was said to have been shot in the knee and is currently receiving treatment at Babcock University Teaching Hospital, part of Babcock University sited in Ilishan town. The abductees were taken into the bush.

Recently, the area has become dangerous to ply.  Two people were abducted while another, Prof. Yinka Olomojobi, who taught Human Rights & Gender Law, was shot and killed st Ajadey Event Centre in the town. 

Police enjoins people to check up on the state of any of their lives ones who could have plied the route yesterday. Also, the general public is warned to take caution on that route for now.
