(3) Dele Momodu Vs. Reno Omokri Vs. Doyin Okupe, Pen Masters In War of Words Over Nig's Economy (Nigeria Metro

Chief Doyin Okupe, in the triangle of exchange of letter, wrote a piece praising Reno Omokri's comment defence of the Tinubu administration in making appreciable policy inroads towards changing the economy positively.

Dr. Okupe wrote:

"Reno even I am surprised at the facts u reeled out. I am always amazed at yr depth and thoroughness. Dele obviously confused the prevailing hardship we are going thru wt economic health, viability and indices.

When the economy is down, the improvements noticeable in the positive growth indices u enumerated are the florrid symptoms and unarguable signs of imminent recovery. Your factual narratives, devoid of emotions and sentiments are the opposite of what the opposition want the people to believe. However the government needs to do more in terms of constant and sustained public enlightenment , active information management and more citizen's engagement."

However, KC Ofoegbu, a commenter then responded, recalling a comment Reno made about Chief Okupe not too long ago:

Dr. Okupe answered this comment with:

Sadly u guys will never learn. U take yrselves too serious. U paddle roughly on waters u are unfamiliar wt. Politics, to those who understand it , is a game. A man city striker who destroyed the chances of Liverpool FC, in a particular season, may join Liverpool to defeat Man city next season. Donald Trump has just picked Sebator Vance, one of his must vitriolic and caustic critics as his running game. Vance in his speech at the RNC convention eulogies Trump to high heavens. Enemies ystdy , friends today. In politics, no permanent enemies or friends , only permanent interests. If u don't hv the stomach for it , park well and leave it to professionals.
