Laylatu Quaddryy: Afrobeats Celebs Sighted in Saudi Arabia. (Celebrities)

Guess who these fave Nigerian singers are?  (Olamide)

Laylatu Quaddryy refers to the last Ashram, the last holiest days of Ramadan where an overnight prayer is equivalent to 1,000 years of forgiveness.

So, even Muslims who fast intermittently during the earlier days of Ramadan, take these last days extreme seriously indeed.

Apart from solitary prayers, lectures called tafsirs, overnight tajjud prayers and Islamic groups hold organized prayers are more frequent at this time to make it more earnest.

Some take it a notch higher. They go ummrah to the Holy land of Mecca to pray at the Al Aqsar mosque, the third holiday site after Mecca and Medina, to make heartfelt supplication. They also tawaf by going round the Kabba many times while making their dua to Allah SWT.

Notable celebrities have not been left out. Mike Tyson and DJ Khaled are too American stars that have been seen in Mecca during 2026 Ramadan. They have been spending the entire Ramadan month making prayers in the country.

As you very well know, Naija no dey carry last in anything, so there are a number of them spotted at the holy land for Laylatu Quaddryy. These include your favourite Asake and Rahmon Jago as seen in the photograph above. For now, Afrobeats can take a back seat temporarily while they focus on communing with Allah.

Ramadan Kareem to all Muslim faithfuls.
