World Cup: NFF Appeals Verdict. (Sports)

 Nigeria has our in many world cup qualifiers over the years. But, it is alright because the Super Eagles lost fairly.

But, now, the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) locked horns with Congo Republic and FIFA over what it considers broad daylight robbery of Nigeria's chances. 

Nigeria has been eliminated from the play-offs following its loss to DR Congo 4-3 on penalties.

Afterwards, the NFF hot suspicious over the legitimacy of some DR Congo players, alleging irregularities in the issuance of passports that qualified them for the fixture.

After several months of deliberation, FIFA overruled Nigeria’s petition.

Undeterred, the NFF said it has formally launched an appeal, signaling its teadiness to pursue the matter through the proper channels.
