"Reopen Straits of Hormuz in 48 Hrs Or US Levels Your Nation's Assets," Trump Tells Iran (Foreign)

President Trump's ultimatum to Iran posted on his social messaging app, Truth Social 

The Iran war is entering its fourth week. What looks like a quick US-Israeli coalition that will soon be over is not turning out to be so. 

It has escalated from that strikes which K1lled Ayatollah Ali Khameini and the topmost officials of 5 Iranian administration holfong a meeting, to Iran's retaliatory strikes on not just Israel, but UAE and Jordan which are US's allies. 

Most contentiously, it has led to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz by Iran.
This sea passage is where 30 percent of international oil vessels pass through. As a result the price of crude oil in the global oil markets has gone up. 

This has caused a furious President Trump to issue a 48 hour ultimatum to Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz or face strikes upon its key infrastructure. Iran is yet to respond to this threat.
